Dearest Miss Terry and Sister Jacqueline,
My girl just started school at Magdalene's Kindergarten and it is obvious to all that she loves the school!
Initially, being a typical “kiasu” parent, we were apprehensive about sending Esther to school at such an early age of two and a half years old. The school is very far from our home but is the best in the country for kids with hearing impairment. As we wanted the best for her, we can only pray for divine guidance that we made the best arrangements for her.
Thank GOD and thank YOU, all of you at CSHI. She is coping very well in school and looking forward to school everyday. We are all so glad.
Having a kid with special needs is indeed a very heart wrenching experience. It is like a roller-coaster ride. On the high side, like any other kid, Esther gives us lots of joy with her smiles and laughter. On the down side, our heart aches every time she struggles to put on her hearing aid.
Above all, with Esther, we have learnt that it takes lots of courage to work in an educational environment for kids with special needs. Not many would want to do this and we are so thankful to have you all at CSHI.
Thank you and God Bless every single one of you at CSHI!
