| Pupils
from Primary 1 to 6 follow the mainstream curriculum.
However, they are exempted from Second Language. They
sit for their P4 Streaming Examination and the Primary
School Leaving Examination (PSLE). Upon
completion of the PSLE, the children would move on
to secondary schools or VSH (Vocational School for
the Handicapped) and would have acquired sufficient
auditory and spoken language to cope in the mainstream
classes. Pupils who
are unable to sit for PSLE due to other learning
difficulties will join the VSH.
They
attend the regular secondary schools such as - St.
Joseph’s
Institution, Montfort Secondary School, Assumption
English School,
and St. Anthony’s Canossian Secondary School.
However parents can opt
for other secondary schools of their choice. They
study alongside
their hearing peers and are also exempted from second
language.
