Enrichment Activities

Our Enrichment Activities provides experiential learning for the pupils based on class themes/topics covered in the pre-school and primary level.

A field trip is planned for each term, by the class teachers. After each excursion our pupils put their knowledge and experiences in various follow-up activities. They work on projects that range from drawing and simple writing about the outing to doing craft work for the lower primary pupils.The upper primary pupils will test out their knowledge through comprehension/close passages, writing a composition or group project work.

Through field trips, our pupils attain first-hand experiences and are able to broaden their general knowledge, increase their awareness of the world outside and widen their vocabulary. To make it more meaningful , and to enhance classroom teaching, field trips are incorporated into topics related to Language themes, Health Education, Mathematics and Science to enable pupils to have a better grasp of the subject matter.

All these Enrichment Activities are organized with these objectives below:

To socialize with peers, teachers, and members of the public during excursions and exhibitions
To widen general knowledge through first-hand experiences
To search and compile notes related to topics
To plan and work on group projects
To instil team spirit during play and work
To learn in a non-threatening environment.
