11th Annual Swimming Carnival (2005)

Children and teachers gathered excitedly for the Annual Swimming Carnival to see old records broken and new ones set! The warm and sunny weather at the Swimming Complex was a real blessing!

The children had been practising diligently for this day. It was on this day that the real champions would emerge.

The event which commenced at 08:30am, took off with the 50-metre freestyle - Upper Primary Boys.

They swam, we cheered! They won, we cried! It was indeed a glorious moment for all.

Some novelty events were included in the carnival which made the entire event more colourful. As for the kindergarten children, they too had some exciting events assisted by the upper primary pupils. The pupils held on to the hula-hoops in a zigzagged position and the kiddies showed off their abilities as they dived and swam their way to the finishing line.

The whole event was great! Our thanks to the swimming coaches for training the pupils in water confidence!

Happy faces and hands clutching onto their prizes were seen leaving the swimming pool with their minds set for next year's swimming carnival.
