In 2006, Sr Elizabeth Tham was appointed Supervisor of the Eduplex and also Supervisor of Canossian School.
in 2001, she became a Senior Faculty Instructor in Reality Therapy (W Glasser Institute, USA).
In 1997, she was Certified Instructor in Reality Therapy (William Glasser Institute, United State of America).
in 1995, she was appointed as Accredited Administrator, MBTI (Australian Psychologists’ Press).
in 1993, she became a Certified Supervisor, Reality Therapy (Institute for Reality Therapy, United State of America).
And in 1992, she graduated her M.Ed. in Educational Psychology from University of Birmingham, United Kingdom.
She holds a B.A. (Hons, English) from University of Singapore in 1976.

Sister Anne Tan

Sr Anne Tan was a teacher for 7 years and a Principal of Canossian School for the Hearing Impaired for 17 years.
Her vision of "All Educational Activities was geared towards the development of the WHOLE PERSON, i.e. Physical, intellectual, social, emotional and spiritual". The Canossian School Goal is being realised from a Total Communication approach to an Auditory-Oral Programme where pupils are now using spoken language with ease and achieving higher academic grades. Pupils with linguistic competence are able to study alongside their hearing peers when integrated into regular schools.

Under her leadership, the CSHI-SGH Cochlear Implant Programme was initiated.

She spearheaded the building of the new school at No. 1 Sallim Road. The school has been architecturally designed to fit our specifications., These included an acoustic treatment to all our classrooms, individual-conversation rooms, modern and sound-treated parent guidance rooms, spacious music room and a fully equipped computer room.

Educated in Australia, Sister Anne Tan holds a Bachelor in Special Education.

Prior to joining Canossian School, she was the Principal of Birkdale School for the Hearing impaired, Southport, England.

She holds a Bachelor of Education from the Lancaster University, England and a Doctorate (hc) from the University of Anadolu, Turkey.
