| The 16 classrooms are
acoustically treated and air-conditioned to reduce the noise
level in and within the environment and to maximize listening
skills and learning, |

| Individual Conversation Rooms |
| Within each classroom, there are
quiet rooms. These rooms are conducive for conducting individual
conversation sessions. |

| Teaching Aids |
| Teaching aids are used at every level
of the pupils learning in the classroom. They range from concrete
objects to worksheets, These teaching aids provide the foundation
of learning through the manipulation of concrete objects and
supported by pictorial charts,. Having a strong understanding
of concepts, it enables them to work independently. |

| Library |
| The school library aims to
inculcate, promote and nurture good reading habits. As such,
a library corner is set up in each of these classrooms.
The
books are
on open shelves to instill a love for reading. The
school organizes an annual library week which promotes
reading
and language development. The pupils are encouraged to participate
actively by enacting stories read, taking part in writing
competition and/or using their artistic talent to make
bookmarks, book jackets, files etc. To
reinforce the awareness of the neighbourhood library,
the lower primary
pupils also attend a story telling session during
the library
week at the nearby library.

| Computer Room |
| The school has a computer lab
equipped with scanners, LCD projector, colour printers
and internet access for teachers. With
the school messaging system, information is passed on more
effectively and efficiently.
Every class is allocated 1 hour
per week for computer lessons. Pupils are trained with the
basic
IT skills (to equip them with knowledge) to be a creative
and active learner.
Pupils who are integrated into
the Canossa Primary School enjoy similar e-learning programmes
as their hearing peers.

| Earmould Laboratory |
| On-site earmould impression taking
and earmould making services are available. Ear plugs for
swimming
are also made for our pupils and teachers to minimize ear infection.
Earmould services are also extended to public. |

| Audiology Room |
| The Audiology room is equipped
with audiometers to test children’s hearing loss and machines
to fine-tune the hearing aids. MAPping of new cochlear implantees
are also carried out by the audiologist. The
Audiologist Room is acoustically treated the cut out environmental
noise. So that children’s hearing assessment could
be carried out more accurately and efficiently.

| Technical Room |
The technicians service children’s
hearing aids and the FM systems. The room is equipped with
the necessary
tools for repairing and machines for servicing the aids.
The hearing aid analyzer is used by the technicians to
check the children’s hearing aids. |

| Parent Guidance Room |
| The Parent Guidance room is used to
carry out training session with the child and guides his/her
parent individually during apparent guidance session. The activities
for each session varies according to the level of the child.
The role of the parent guider is to guide the parent in working
with his/her child at home so that there is continuity in the
development of spoken language. |

| Music Room |
| This room is acoustically
treated to prevent reverberation of sounds from the musical
instruments. The qualified
instructors teach the pupils to read music scores, rhythm
and playing the instruments. With the implementation of the
weekly music programme, the children’s auditory skills
have improved, hence developing an appreciation for music
