Overview of Canossian School

Canossian School (CSH) provides education for children who are hearing impaired. We cater to children (of different denominations and races)and who are either Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents.

Where are we?

The school is centrally located at No. 1 Sallim Road, off Aljunied Road.

Canossian School Canossian School (CSH) provides programmes for children with hearing impairment from birth to primary school leaving age, using the Natural Auditory Oral Approach.

Canossa Convent Primary School Canossa Convent Primary School (CCPS) welcomes children from the other sectors within the Eduplex. The synergy of the Eduplex is truly manifested when a child is able to progress smoothly from pre-school to primary level at Canossa. CCPS leads in the co-ordination of the Eduplex, allowing the full synthesis of the 5 sectors. Though their niche is fine arts, pupils do not miss out in progressing with technology, developing an adventurous spirit and involvement with the community. The Eduplex allows for integration of some of our pupils into Canossa Convent Primary School.

Magdalene’s Kindergarten Magdalene’s Kindergarten is an excellent ground for nurturing the young because they are imbibed with the right values at a tender age, allowing them to mix well with children with special needs and also giving them the foundation of social skills.

Canossaville Children’s Home Canossaville Children’s Home offers residential and student care services. One of the programmes of student care is the Total Learning for Children (TLC) in which the slow learners are exposed to various learning aids to help build up their self-confidence and to motivate them to achieve so that they will be at par with their peers in school. The Home provides a conducive environment for the children’s development through discipline, academic help and emotional support.

Canossa Convent The sisters provide pastoral lessons to the pupils and assist in the staff animation in the different sectors of the Eduplex.
